Hair: Maya has long, wavy, dirty blond hair. She hates the waves, and therefore often flat irons it to death. Maya doesn't think she has nice hair but she takes good care of it and it always smells like her favorite fragrance, rasberry.

History: She grew up in a place called Pound, Virginia. Maya never really fit in with all the country background. Unlike most people there, she spoke like she was from California or Urban Missouri. She wore sweet things and no cowboy boots ever touched her feet. Maya was very happy when she and her family moved to Connecticut. Though she did miss one thing from Virginia; the horses. Because of this, they decided to sign her up for lessons and and actually bought her a horse. Even though she grew up to be a fantastic rider, she had many other interests that brought her many friends. One day at school, she overheard some people talking about a boarding school, which suddenly got her interested. So, she went home and looked it up. She talked to her parents about it and ended up applying for the school. She made it in and now her path lies inside the great Ridge Way school grounds.


Personality:Maya's most valuable quality is that she accepts herself and other people as who they are, meaning that no matter who you are, she'll always give you a chance. She's a very intelligent inividual but she also breaks out of her shell, shares new ideas and is always open to new challenges, new plans and new friends. She is friend-oriented but she also knows her limits- family first. Maya doesn't believe in second chances, and she hates when people call her sweet. There's no doubt that she can be extremely mean if she wants to, and she knows when it's time to draw a line, put her foot down and stand up for those she loves. She is unforgettable and also very likeable, but she has a rule- four minutes to judge. This means that if she doesn't jump to "She'd be a great friend!" within four minutes, the potential is out. Maya is popular wherever she goes but she is selfless and loves her friends.
